Sales Price: Bahl introduced in Sunnyvale the medium price garden court home which had gained popularity in Southern California. When first built, the homes were about 1,200 sq. ft. and sold for $24,000. Three years later, the homes averaged 1,575 sq. ft. and sold for $35,000

Buyer Profile: Average age of those who purchased the Bahl Patio Homes, and are now buying the Bahl Cluster Homes, (see page 60), is 27, In most cases both the husband and wife work and have for a number of years.  They are above average in education and income. They have been apartment renters and enjoyed it for a number of years. The primary reasons for buying are privacy and contemporary design.
