Model Home Swimming Pool

This Pool is in the backyard of the Model Home. We tried to do something different here. We wanted the pool to feel much more like a garden pool. This was accomplished by raising the pool out of the ground by 18". We picked 18" because this is the standard height for a chair seat. We wanted people to sit around the pool. The plaster in the pool is also brown. This gives the water a greenish tint. The back end of the pool is only 1 foot deep. So when you are in the Master bedroom, it has the feel of a reflecting pond.
